The investment seeks growth of capital over the long term. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities of Pacific Basin issuers and other investments that are tied economically to the Pacific Basin. It invests primarily in common stocks. The fund allocates investments across different Pacific Basin countries. It uses fundamental analysis of factors such as each issuer's financial condition and industry position, as well as market and economic conditions, to select investments.

Biography | Stephen Lieu is a portfolio manager in the Equity division at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals. In this role, Mr. Lieu is co-manager of Fidelity Pacific Basin Fund. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2013, Mr. Lieu was an investment associate at Deutsche Bank's DB Masdar Clean Tech Fund.
