Investment Strategy

The Sub-fund aims to outperform (after deduction of costs) the MSCI ACWI Index, as stated in sterling, by at least 2.5% per annum over rolling five-year periods. The Sub-fund will invest at least 90% in shares of companies that have the potential to deliver substantial improvements to human health, lengthen lifespans and reduce healthcare costs. The companies that the Sub-fund invests in will bring innovation to human health through increasing understanding and detection of disease, and by improving treatments, devices and operational efficiencies. The Sub-fund will be actively managed and will invest in companies in any country and of any size.
