The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to maximize returns by investing primarily in quality growth-oriented equity securities in emerging markets. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in equity securities of issuers located in emerging market countries. It may, but it is not required to, use derivatives and similar instruments for a variety of purposes, including hedging, risk management, portfolio management or to earn income. The fund's use of derivatives may involve the purchase and sale of derivative instruments such as futures and other similar instruments and techniques.
