Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 9.22% or 2.71 points to trade at 32.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Hail Cement Company (SE:3001) added 5.54% or 1.09 points to end at 20.75 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was up 3.99% or 0.89 points to 23.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which fell 3.45% or 0.95 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 0.88% or 0.61 points to end at 69.00 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was down 1.33% or 0.50 points to 37.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 12.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.12 to $43.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.18% or 0.09 to hit $49.15 a barrel, while the December Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1094.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.1145, while USD/SAR rose 0.07% to 3.7525.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 97.74.
