Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 10.00% or 2.25 points to trade at 24.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 9.91% or 3.40 points to end at 37.70 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was up 7.02% or 5.00 points to 76.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 4.61% or 2.50 points to trade at 51.75 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) declined 3.75% or 1.40 points to end at 35.90 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) was down 3.39% or 1.40 points to 39.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 57.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.04% or 0.38 to $35.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.48% or 0.55 to hit $36.34 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.30 to trade at $1067.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.0780, while USD/SAR rose 0.06% to 3.7545.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.00% at 98.73.
