Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Construction & Building Materials and Food Producers & Processors sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO), which rose 9.95% or 2.09 points to trade at 23.09 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) added 6.49% or 6.70 points to end at 110.00 and M2M Group (CS:M2M) was up 4.11% or 11.70 points to 296.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which lost 4.55% or 1.04 points to trade at 21.84 in late trade. Involys (CS:INV) declined 2.35% or 2.45 points to end at 102.00 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) shed 2.00% or 6 points to 314.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 23 to 16 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.23% or 0.11 to $48.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.55% or 0.28 to hit $51.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 3.04% or 39.95 to trade at $1272.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.8980, while USD/MAD rose 0.03% to 9.7300.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 96.16.
