Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 2.19% or 7.2 points to trade at 335.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 1.95% or 6.6 points to end at 345.9 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was up 1.71% or 0.90 points to 53.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 0.15% or 1.0 points to trade at 684.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) added 0.16% or 1.0 points to end at 631.0 and Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) was up 0.24% or 1.2 points to 493.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 113 to 45 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (COP:GEN) rose to all time highs; up 0.15% or 1.0 to 684.5. Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.95% or 6.6 to 345.9.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.27% or 0.65 to $50.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.83% or 0.47 to hit $56.62 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 2.16% or 24.40 to trade at $1107.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.8743, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.98.
