Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which rose 4.26% or 19.4 points to trade at 474.9 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 3.11% or 1.02 points to end at 33.86 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 3.00% or 17.5 points to 601.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.22% or 205 points to trade at 9010 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.98% or 180 points to end at 8930 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.29% or 7.0 points to 537.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 64 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 4.04% or 1.51 to $35.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.06% or 1.19 to hit $37.55 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.24% or 13.20 to trade at $1074.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.00% to 6.8271, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4622.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 98.27.
