Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.82% or 25.0 points to trade at 1402.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.43% or 4.3 points to end at 305.0 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.27% or 3.20 points to 255.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.14% or 28.5 points to trade at 880.5 in late trade. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 3.00% or 3.80 points to end at 123.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 1.64% or 3.9 points to 234.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 48 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.08% or 0.58 to $53.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.36% or 0.77 to hit $56.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 10.95 to trade at $1231.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.9249, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4364.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 100.02.
