Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure, Chemicals and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Taslif (CS:TSF1), which rose 5.99% or 2.42 points to trade at 42.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC) added 5.97% or 6.15 points to end at 109.15 and Label Vie (CS:LBV) was up 5.49% or 62 points to 1190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which fell 6.00% or 2.88 points to trade at 45.12 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) declined 5.98% or 64 points to end at 1006 and Risma (CS:RIS) was down 5.97% or 9.20 points to 144.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 15 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Risma (CS:RIS) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.97% or 9.20 to 144.70.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.59% or 1.14 to $42.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.95% or 0.93 to hit $46.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1166.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.06% to 10.8290, while USD/MAD rose 0.09% to 9.8081.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 96.98.
