Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.28% or 4.0 points to trade at 317.6 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.11% or 0.75 points to end at 68.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.09% or 6.0 points to 554.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.92% or 2.0 points to trade at 215.6 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.88% or 10.0 points to end at 1132.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.66% or 0.9 points to 136.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 50 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.33% or 0.16 to $48.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.65% or 0.33 to hit $51.22 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.74% or 35.95 to trade at $1276.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.6480, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4408.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 96.15.
