Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 0.91% or 3.5 points to trade at 381.2 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell 0.94% or 2.8 points to end at 294.2 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.25% or 3.50 points to 277.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.53% or 49.0 points to trade at 1340.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 3.36% or 20.5 points to end at 590.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 2.24% or 8.0 points to 349.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 10 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.01% or 0.49 to $49.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.18% or 0.61 to hit $52.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.71% or 21.09 to trade at $1257.49 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.6781, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 97.54.
