Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270), which rose 9.90% or 1.55 points to trade at 17.20 at the close. Meanwhile, City Cement Co (SE:3003) added 7.23% or 1.20 points to end at 17.80 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) was up 3.97% or 2.50 points to 65.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080), which fell 4.80% or 1.20 points to trade at 23.80 at the close. Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) declined 3.28% or 0.45 points to end at 13.25 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was down 3.17% or 1.00 points to 30.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 93 to 72.
Shares in National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.80% or 1.20 to 23.80. Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.28% or 0.45 to 13.25. Shares in ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.17% or 1.00 to 30.50.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.96% or 0.44 to $46.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.11% or 0.06 to hit $49.10 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.97% or 23.20 to trade at $1152.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.1090, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 97.56.
