Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Telecoms & IT and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.21% or 1.10 points to trade at 13.05 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 7.20% or 1.30 points to end at 19.35 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 6.87% or 0.45 points to 7.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which lost 9.89% or 3.60 points to trade at 32.80 in late trade. Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) declined 8.90% or 1.95 points to end at 19.95 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) shed 8.79% or 5.25 points to 54.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 126 to 29 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.50% or 0.20 to $39.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $41.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1223.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.1870, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 96.17.
