Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.87% or 1.95 points to trade at 21.70 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 7.97% or 1.45 points to end at 19.65 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 4.40% or 1.20 points to 28.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which lost 6.59% or 0.30 points to trade at 4.25 in late trade. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 3.78% or 0.85 points to end at 21.65 and Arab National Bank (SE:1080) shed 3.43% or 0.70 points to 19.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.13% or 0.06 to $45.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.74% or 0.35 to hit $47.02 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.63% or 8.15 to trade at $1298.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.3019, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 92.88.
