Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which rose 10.00% or 0.75 points to trade at 8.25 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 3.90% or 0.150 points to end at 4.000 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 3.45% or 1.00 points to 30.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 8.60% or 0.95 points to trade at 10.10 in late trade. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) declined 5.25% or 1.80 points to end at 32.50 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) shed 5.17% or 2.10 points to 38.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 139 to 17 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.63% or 0.31 to $48.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.40% or 0.20 to hit $49.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.82% or 34.25 to trade at $1246.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.92% to 4.2634, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7497.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.74% at 93.90.
