Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.89% or 0.90 points to trade at 10.00 at the close. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 8.64% or 0.70 points to end at 8.80 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was up 7.92% or 2.90 points to 39.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which lost 3.95% or 0.90 points to trade at 21.90 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.93% or 1.90 points to end at 46.40 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) shed 3.72% or 1.00 points to 25.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 45 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.22% or 0.11 to $49.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $49.95 a barrel, while the August Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1216.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.73% to 4.1677, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 95.73.
