Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 2.66% or 0.280 points to trade at 10.820 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 2.26% or 1.11 points to end at 50.30 and Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) was up 1.84% or 0.61 points to 33.84 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 2.70% or 0.150 points to trade at 5.400 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.23% or 0.140 points to end at 11.250 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) shed 0.91% or 0.31 points to 33.59.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.13% or 0.58 to $50.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.57% or 0.76 to hit $47.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1202.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.22% to 1.0631, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8740.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.41.
