Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.14% or 7.9 points to trade at 377.1 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.66% or 0.55 points to end at 84.20 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.48% or 1.2 points to 251.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.81% or 17.5 points to trade at 604.5 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.36% or 6.7 points to end at 277.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 2.29% or 6.6 points to 281.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 33 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.31% or 0.14 to $44.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.13% or 0.06 to hit $47.60 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.21 to trade at $1245.89 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.5080, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 95.43.
