Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 2.34% or 60.0 points to trade at 2625.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.72% or 70.0 points to end at 9850.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.69% or 60.0 points to 8760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p), which lost 1.93% or 25.0 points to trade at 1270.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.53% or 0.4 points to end at 25.8 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.04% or 180.0 points to 17120.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.58% or 0.70 to $121.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.75% or 16.50 to hit $2219.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.70 to trade at $1335.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.14% to 2840.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.23% to 880.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 89.77.
