Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.50% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which rose 6.57% or 16.9 points to trade at 274.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Modern Times Group MTG AB ser. B (ST:MTGBs) added 5.32% or 13.1 points to end at 259.4 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 5.06% or 7.90 points to 164.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 6.00% or 5.30 points to trade at 83.00 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 2.02% or 1.20 points to end at 58.25 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 1.20% or 1.50 points to 123.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 364 to 190 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.52% or 0.69 to $44.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.41% or 0.20 to hit $47.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.27% or 3.20 to trade at $1162.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.3749, while USD/SEK rose 0.67% to 8.5056.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.68% at 97.08.
