Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.80% or 8.1 points to trade at 296.9 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 2.63% or 4.5 points to end at 175.7 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 2.25% or 4.0 points to 181.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 1.86% or 18.0 points to trade at 951.5 in late trade. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.77% or 4.40 points to end at 244.10 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 0.71% or 0.26 points to 36.53.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 414 to 303 and 73 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.47% or 0.21 to $44.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.31 to hit $47.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.04 to trade at $1256.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.07% to 9.7461, while USD/SEK fell 0.49% to 8.7078.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.18.
