Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Multi Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.04% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hokair Group (SE:1820), which rose 9.95% or 2.13 points to trade at 23.54 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 5.37% or 0.81 points to end at 15.88 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) was up 5.26% or 0.94 points to 18.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which lost 8.44% or 1.14 points to trade at 12.36 in late trade. Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) declined 5.08% or 0.42 points to end at 7.85 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) shed 3.54% or 0.88 points to 24.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 88 and 1 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.26% or 0.15 to $57.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.31% or 0.20 to hit $63.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.32 to trade at $1281.12 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.3480, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 94.76.
