Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Media & Publishing and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 5.92% or 0.73 points to trade at 13.06 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 3.62% or 0.48 points to end at 13.74 and Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) was up 3.03% or 0.60 points to 20.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which lost 3.47% or 0.33 points to trade at 9.19 in late trade. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 2.91% or 0.54 points to end at 18.04 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) shed 2.71% or 0.90 points to 32.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 84 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.28% or 0.16 to $57.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $63.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.32 to trade at $1290.58 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.4370, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.30.
