Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.35% or 3.60 points to trade at 270.50 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.06% or 2.2 points to end at 210.2 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs) was up 1.01% or 2.4 points to 240.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 2.22% or 20.0 points to trade at 879.5 in late trade. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) declined 1.48% or 0.55 points to end at 36.55 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) shed 1.08% or 1.10 points to 101.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 369 to 298 and 91 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.49% or 0.75 to $50.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.75% or 0.93 to hit $54.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1257.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.48% to 9.6003, while USD/SEK rose 0.55% to 9.0042.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.50.
