US futures are indicating a higher open. European equity markets have opened higher, following mixed Asian trade. Asian markets have started the week off with losses as a follow-on to the Friday US session. However European equities have held-up, on the back of US futures pointing up some 1%. Developments in the UK and ongoing inflationary pressure remain front and center. In that regard, new UK Chancellor Hunt is due to make a statement later today on measures from the medium-term fiscal plan ahead of delivering a full plan and official forecasts on 31-Oct
