Gold and copper assays tarnished shares of a resource junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, Nov. 20:
Orestone Mining Corp (TSXV:ORS) shares fell 33% to $0.08 on Wednesday after the resource junior announced assay results from the 2019 drilling program at its Captain gold-copper project in British Columbia, which included 91 metres grading 0.26 g/t gold and 0.065% copper from 112 metres.
As well, shares of Mav Beauty Brands Inc (TSX:MAV) gained 17% to $2.85 as the personal care company said its founder and CEO, Marc Anthony Venere, has acquired a total of 2,382,385 common shares of the company on Nov. 19, in an off-market transaction at a price of $2.40 per share.
Martello Technologies Group Inc (TSXV:MTLO), meanwhile, reported second-quarter revenue of $3.1 million, a 59% year-over-year increase, while its loss from operations during the quarter swelled to $1,449,530 from a loss of $857,783 during the same period last year. Martello Technologies Group stock dropped 14% to $0.34 following the announcement.
Finally, Sienna Resources Inc (TSXV:SIE) shares rose 14% to $0.04 after the junior explorer announced results from a two-hole drill program at its Slättberg project in Sweden, which included 0.55 meters averaging 0.22% nickel, 1.79% copper, and 4.15 g/t PGE (platinum group elements).
