Xtrackers - Stoxx Europe 600 Basic Resources Swap UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Deutsche Asset Management S.A. The fund is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. It invests in public equity markets of Europe. The fund uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the basic resources sector which include companies engaged in forestry and paper, and industrial metals and mining. It invests in the stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Basic Resources Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers - Stoxx Europe 600 Basic Resources UCITS ETF. Xtrackers - Stoxx Europe 600 Basic Resources Swap UCITS ETF was formed on June 26, 2007 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
