The fund invests in the public equity markets of developed countries in Europe. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the healthcare sector. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Health Care Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares (DE) I - iShares STOXX Europe 600 Health Care (DE). iShares (DE) I - iShares STOXX Europe 600 Health Care UCITS ETF (DE) was formed on April 25, 2001 and is domiciled in Germany.
