It invests in public equity markets of the United States. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across health care, health care equipment and services, health care equipment and supplies, health care equipment and medical equipment sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It seeks to track the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Medical Equipment Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Trust - iShares U.S. Medical Devices ETF was formed on May 1, 2006 and is domiciled in the United States.
