Investment Strategy

The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests, under normal conditions, at least 80% of its net assets (including borrowings for investment purposes) in common stocks of companies with medium market capitalizations. For purposes of the fund, a medium capitalization company has a market capitalization within the range of market capitalization represented in the Russell Midcap ® Index at the time of purchase. The size of the companies in the Russell Midcap Value Index will change with market conditions. The fund will hold approximately 60 to 80 securities.

Prior to joining WEDGE in 2014, Don was a Portfolio Manager at Lee Munder Capital Group in Boston, Massachusetts, and an Investment Analyst with American Century Investments in Kansas City, Missouri. Don received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Finance from St. Olaf College, his Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and his Juris Doctoris from Indiana University School of Law. Don is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.

Prior to joining LMCG in 2005, Peter spent over six years at State Street Research & Management Co., where he served as lead portfolio manager for the firm’s Mid Cap Value and Large Cap Value teams and was Chief Investment Officer of the Value strategies. Prior to joining SSRM, Peter founded and served as lead portfolio manager for the American Century Value Fund, VP Value Fund, and the American Century Equity Income Fund. Peter spent eight years at NBD Bank, where he founded the NBD Intrinsic Fund, and six years as a member of the founding team of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s Abu Dhabi-based U.S. equity investment capabilities. Peter is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and holds an MS in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
