Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.49% or 29.5 points to trade at 874.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) added 2.78% or 12.3 points to end at 454.3 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 2.58% or 13.5 points to 537.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 2.61% or 0.90 points to trade at 33.53 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 1.85% or 4.2 points to end at 222.3 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.64% or 9.5 points to 569.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 73 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.04% or 1.27 to $30.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 3.89% or 1.24 to hit $30.64 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.97% or 10.60 to trade at $1085.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.8849, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4613.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 99.17.
