Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Real Estate and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT), which rose 5.21% or 54 points to trade at 1090 at the close. Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) added 4.45% or 2.09 points to end at 49.10 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS) was up 3.71% or 6.30 points to 176.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Centrale Danone (CS:CDA), which lost 5.05% or 29 points to trade at 545 in late trade. IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) declined 4.56% or 5.25 points to end at 110.00 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) shed 3.98% or 3.78 points to 91.22.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 11 and 10 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.23% or 0.10 to $44.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.74% or 0.83 to hit $46.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.87% or 24.75 to trade at $1351.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.27% to 10.9190, while USD/MAD fell 0.55% to 9.7091.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.90% at 94.88.
