CHICAGO, Aug 21 (Reuters) - ICE Canada canola rose on
Friday, boosted by a weaker Canadian dollar that was supportive
of exports, but finished with a weekly loss.
* A forecast for mild frost in central Alberta added
concerns about damage to immature crops, a trader said.
* Prices reacted little to Statistics Canada's first output
report of 2015, which pegged canola production slightly lower

* November canola RSX5 gained $1.90 to reach $480.20 per
tonne. Lost 1.3 percent for the week.
* January canola RSF6 added $1.80 to $480.10 per tonne.
* November-January spread traded 1,800 times.

November rapeseed COMX5 fell.
* The Canadian dollar CAD= was trading at $1.3156, or
76.01 U.S. cents at 1:17 p.m. CDT (1817 GMT), down from the Bank
of Canada's official close on Thursday of $1.3081, or 76.45 U.S.
cents.
