TOKYO, Oct 10 (Reuters) -
* Japan's Toho Gas Co 9533.T says it signed a basic agreement with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp 8058.T to buy up to four cargoes or about 0.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from LNG Canada project over 15 years starting 2024/25.
* Toho Gas will buy on ex-ship basis with destination flexibility, it said in a statement.
* Project leader Royal Dutch Shell (LON:RDSa) RDSa.AS , Mitsubishi and other partners gave the green light for the mega Canadian project last week.
