Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX declined 2.36% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Delta Lloyd (AS:DLL), which rose 1.53% or 0.08 points to trade at 5.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Ahold Kon (AS:AHLN) added 0.21% or 0.04 points to end at 19.38 and DSM Kon (AS:DSMN) was down 0.03% or 0.01 points to 43.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Dutch Shell A (AS:RDSa), which fell 6.40% or 1.26 points to trade at 18.52 at the close. ASML Holding (AS:ASML) declined 4.22% or 3.25 points to end at 73.74 and OCI (AS:OCI) was down 3.29% or 0.660 points to 19.400.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 129 to 43 and 5 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was up 4.05% to 30.92 a new 3-months high.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.69% or 0.23 to $33.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.49% or 0.17 to hit $33.59 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.62% or 6.90 to trade at $1100.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.42% to 1.0885, while EUR/GBP rose 0.23% to 0.7497.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 98.72.
