Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the FTSE MIB added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the FTSE MIB were Mediobanca (MILAN:MDBI), which rose 3.12% or 0.300 points to trade at 9.915 at the close. Meanwhile, Moncler SpA (MILAN:MONC) added 2.72% or 0.49 points to end at 18.50 and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (MILAN:FCHA) was up 2.29% or 0.320 points to 14.300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tenaris (MILAN:TENR), which fell 2.96% or 0.35 points to trade at 11.49 at the close. Autogrill (MILAN:AGL) declined 2.32% or 0.20 points to end at 8.21 and Banca Pop Emilia Romagna (MILAN:EMII) was down 1.53% or 0.125 points to 8.025.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 258 to 192 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.81% or 0.88 to $47.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.21% or 0.65 to hit $52.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.66% or 7.20 to trade at $1095.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.91% to 1.1033, while EUR/GBP rose 0.70% to 0.7057.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.64% at 96.98.
