Investing.com -- U.S. crude oil inventories unexpectedly jumped last week, according to the Energy Information Administration.
Crude oil inventories rose 4.467 million barrels against expectations for a draw of 0.629 million barrels.
Distillate stocks declined by 2.4 million barrels. The expectation had been for a build of 1.038 million barrels.
Gasoline inventories rose by 0.163 million barrels against expectations for a draw of 1.614 million barrels.
