Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.16% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 5.61% or 17.6 points to trade at 331.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 2.76% or 18.0 points to end at 669.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 2.72% or 320 points to 12080 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which fell 0.39% or 3.0 points to trade at 773.5 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) declined 0.17% or 0.15 points to end at 88.55 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 0.29% or 1.5 points to 523.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 39 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (COP:GEN) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.76% or 18.0 to 669.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.19% or 0.10 to $51.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.31% or 0.17 to hit $57.30 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.33% or 3.80 to trade at $1143.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.8595, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4607.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 97.79.
