Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.81% or 5.1 points to trade at 186.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.10% or 2.8 points to end at 256.8 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 0.80% or 0.60 points to 75.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 5.64% or 7.4 points to trade at 123.7 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 1.83% or 11.0 points to end at 589.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 1.79% or 5.0 points to 275.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 78 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.50% or 0.69 to $46.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.85% or 0.91 to hit $49.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.51% or 5.90 to trade at $1141.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.7668, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4586.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.51% at 96.87.
