Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which rose 9.83% or 1.75 points to trade at 19.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.79% or 1.85 points to end at 20.75 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 9.68% or 1.05 points to 11.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almarai Company (SE:2280), which fell 6.45% or 5.00 points to trade at 72.50 at the close. City Cement Co (SE:3003) declined 6.21% or 1.10 points to end at 16.60 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 2.24% or 1.00 points to 43.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 40.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.51% or 0.70 to $45.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.42% or 0.70 to hit $48.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 3.90 to trade at $1137.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.1381, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 96.82.
