Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 7.51% or 2.95 points to trade at 42.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 3.63% or 11.5 points to end at 328.2 and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) was up 2.14% or 17.8 points to 846.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which fell 7.83% or 3.7 points to trade at 43.5 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 6.41% or 4.0 points to end at 57.7 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 4.46% or 3.3 points to 70.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 110 to 74 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) rose to all time highs; rising 2.14% or 17.8 to 846.5.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.78% or 0.36 to $45.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $48.53 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.10 to trade at $1107.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.96% to 9.3015, while USD/NOK fell 0.78% to 8.5570.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 98.12.
