Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 1.33% or 4.3 points to trade at 327.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.25% or 0.45 points to end at 36.36 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.96% or 2.50 points to 262.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which lost 5.23% or 35.5 points to trade at 643.5 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.85% or 16.0 points to end at 847.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.76% or 155 points to 8675.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 34 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.53% or 0.26 to hit $49.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.90 to trade at $1350.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6059, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 94.91.
