MANILA, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Canada's new Liberal government
is reviewing a C$4.3 billion ($3.2 billion) package designed to
compensate farmers for losses they might incur under a new
Pacific trade deal, Trade Minister Chrystia Freeland told
reporters on Wednesday.
The package was approved by the previous Conservative
government, which lost power in an election last month. The
Liberals have yet to say whether they will ratify the 12-nation
Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement.
