Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Hotels & Tourism and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214), which rose 7.52% or 2.40 points to trade at 34.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 4.98% or 2.20 points to end at 46.40 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 4.44% or 2.75 points to 64.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which fell 3.81% or 0.45 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 3.21% or 0.45 points to end at 13.55 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 2.14% or 0.20 points to 9.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 51.
Shares in United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.81% or 0.45 to 11.35. Shares in Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) fell to all time lows; down 2.14% or 0.20 to 9.15.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.62% or 1.18 to $46.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.12% or 1.00 to hit $48.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.39% or 4.40 to trade at $1133.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.43% to 4.2196, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 95.67.
