Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 2.30% or 205 points to trade at 9115 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.93% or 180 points to end at 9525 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.56% or 17.0 points to 1109.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which lost 1.87% or 2.6 points to trade at 136.1 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.74% or 0.45 points to end at 60.30 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.88% or 3.7 points to 416.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 66 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $48.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.37% or 0.19 to hit $50.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.68% or 9.25 to trade at $1347.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.5762, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 94.57.
