Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 7.49% or 3.9 points to trade at 55.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 4.24% or 1.49 points to end at 36.61 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 2.37% or 1.0 points to 41.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.97% or 9.5 points to trade at 310.6 at the close. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) declined 2.15% or 18.0 points to end at 818.5 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was down 1.82% or 0.95 points to 51.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 79 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.32% or 0.13 to $40.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.95% or 0.86 to hit $43.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.70 to trade at $1084.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.56% to 9.3006, while USD/NOK rose 0.10% to 8.6845.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 99.34.
