Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.52% or 0.16 points to trade at 30.67 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 0.08% or 0.5 points to end at 619.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.15% or 0.2 points to 133.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 4.19% or 400 points to trade at 9150 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.13% or 385 points to end at 8930 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 2.85% or 24.5 points to 834.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 31 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.27% or 1.24 to $36.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.50% or 1.02 to hit $39.82 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1265.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.7729, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4621.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 97.10.
