Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 5.57% or 1.79 points to trade at 33.95 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.04% or 2.6 points to end at 129.8 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.23% or 0.5 points to 221.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which fell 4.54% or 29.5 points to trade at 620.5 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 4.03% or 340 points to end at 8095 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 3.91% or 325 points to 7995.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 75 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.03% or 340 to 8095. Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.91% or 325 to 7995.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.69% or 0.23 to $33.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.61% or 0.20 to hit $33.55 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.61% or 6.80 to trade at $1101.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.8526, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4601.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 98.71.
