Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.65%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.89% or 5.0 points to trade at 133.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 3.85% or 16.70 points to end at 451.00 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.63% or 3.5 points to 556.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 11.17% or 16.6 points to trade at 132.0 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 5.90% or 1.18 points to end at 18.81 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was down 3.19% or 5.4 points to 164.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 413 to 152 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.19% or 5.4 to 164.1.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 4.30% or 1.36 to $30.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.53% or 1.21 to hit $33.03 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.26% or 2.90 to trade at $1125.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.78% to 9.3575, while USD/SEK rose 0.52% to 8.5732.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 98.92.
